e-Learning [Electronic Learning]
A type of education or training supported through computer technology.
e-Learning is often used by companies as a method of instructing and training their employees by using Intranet, Internet or computer-based programs. Employees can often work at their own pace to gain knowledge or learn how to be more proficient at specific tasks.
If it is not feasible for employees to be present for an instructional course at a meeting, e-Learning can be a helpful resource for those individuals to watch videos and view presentation slides from the course at their convenience.
