QuickTime

Versatile computer multimedia format developed by Apple Inc.

The file extension associated with QuickTime is .mov. QuickTime Player is a free, cross-platform program that can play back .mov files containing video, audio, animation, etc. QuickTime is the underlying architecture on which Final Cut Pro is based. You can download the free QuickTime Player here.

By sending .mov files to clients over an FTP site, clients can view progress or approve video projects remotely.
