We enjoy answering questions about what we do. In our business, there is a lot to know.
We don’t claim to know it all, but one thing we do know is that sharing our knowledge helps us and our clients work smarter. Throughout our history, TEK Productions has been involved in educating industry professionals on the technical side of live-event and media production.
TEK Tips is a resource for the event community. This resource is mostly limited to terms and guidelines for use in the media production and live-event environment.

Speaker Ready Room
A room where presenters rehearse their speeches with teleprompting and graphics support.
In the speaker ready room, presenters review their presentation slides and rehearse with speaker notes or teleprompting. A teleprompter operator and graphics operator make the desired changes as the presenters rehearse. The room gives the presenters an opportunity to refine their content, discuss message points with their advisors and practice their delivery style. This is especially important to prepare the presenters prior to coming into the main room, where rehearsal time onstage may be limited due to technical preparations or restrictions on the load-in schedule.
