Floater Tech

An audio/video technician who monitors the needs of multiple breakout rooms.

Floater technicians have a general knowledge of audio, video and how to interface computers with projection. Floaters assist presenters with their technical needs and are “on call” at all times.

As a general rule, one technician can cover up to six small to medium-size breakouts depending upon the equipment and room proximity.
